Marketing is an attitude, not an activity…
As I sift through the sea of information on the web about Marketing, this is a dorky past time, I have come to realize that Marketing is truly an attitude, not an activity. According to Webster’s dictionary, attitude is:
“manner, disposition, feeling, position, etc., with regard to a person or thing; tendency or orientation, esp. of the mind: a negative attitude; group attitudes.”
Wouldn’t you agree that without marketing brings life to products, establishes value, and helps create market permanence? Sure, the company behind the product requires action, however, the feeling or position a product evokes is what we remember in the long term.
Think about it - marketing as an attitude and not an action. Love it, don’t ya?
